Norine Baron, Chair
Norine has been a part of the BVO family from the very beginning. Over the last 25 years she has assumed a number of different positions on the Board and participated in virtually every service and/or event that BVO offers. From August 2006 to August 2007, Norine acted as a temporary Executive Director to cover some of Carolyn's responsibilites whilst Carolyn was away. In September, Norine returned to the Board and will assume the role of Chair.

Pat Hartlen, Director
Pat has been a volunteer for most of her adult life. She has served on the PTA at her children's schools; and on the Executives of the Western Ontario Division of the Canadian Canoe Association, and the Atlantic Terrier Association. Shortly after moving to TBM in 2006, she joined the volunteers at BVO and has worked in the Treasure Shop; helped with the Good Food Boxes and Christmas Hampers programs;and worked with the Silent Auction. Pat served on the BVO Board from 2009-2011, and after taking a year off to pursue another interest, returned to the Board in June 2012. She and her husband Ron love living in The Town of Blue Mountains and are involved in a variety of activities.

Catherine Innes
Cathy began her volunteering with BVO as a sorter in the Treasure Shop, then joined the Board in 2004. She sits on the Policy Committee, Treasure Shop Committee, Strategic Planning Committee, as well as Chair of the Finance Committee. Tai Chi, the Library Board, sailing, reading and directing plays for the Thornbury Community Theater keep her busy the rest of the time. We are very grateful for Cathy's commitment to BVO!

Marty Lacey, Treasurer
Marty has been with the BVO Board for since 1999. She is not only our Secretary/ Treasurer, but she ensures we have adequate storage in the Treasure Shop when donations overwhelm our space! She has been known to defrost our freezer and wax our floors when she is not busy balancing our books! Marty was named Town of the Blue Mountains volunteer of the year in 2003.

Karen Newton-Stewart, Vice Chair
Karen joined the BVO Board in 2005. Her first task was to organize and manage the 2005 Annual Silent Auction - it was a great success. She also sits on the Communications Committee and the Strategic Planning Committee. Her knowledge of marketing and advertising are a great benefit to BVO.

Kathryn Robson, Director
Marlene Yen, Board of Directors
Marlene Yen has been volunteering at BVO for nine years! Currently Marlene is Vice-Chair of BVO Board of Directors. She has devoted the last two years as chair of the very busy Silent Auction Committee. Marlene is warm, gentle and generous beyond the call! As a former school administrator, she brings invaluable experience to her work with the Board of Directors. We are so fortunate to have this generous, giving woman "on Board" at BVO.

Stella Zahradnik, Director
Stella has been coming to the Beaver Valley for over 40 years, and has lived here full time with her husband Peter for 8 years.
Stella is an avid skier, golfer, biker, walker, world traveller and an energetic volunteer. As a member of the Board of Management at Beaver Valley Probus Club, as secretary-treasurer of the Beaver Valley Fall Fair, the Beaver Valley Open Door Refugee Committee and most recently, as a member of the Board of Directors at BVO, she contributes greatly to the life of our community. Her first involvement at BVO was as a member of the Youth Coalition in the Meaford/ Thornbury/Clarksburg area. Stella says she enjoys working alongside BVO volunteers and is impressed with the multitude of programs developed by BVO, especially the Breakfast Club, Lunch Program and Kids Club at Beaver Valley Community School.
